Description
They are rings of circular section that are used to be used between two elements at rest. For a static application, or to achieve a watertight connection between two moving elements, dynamic application.
They are manufactured in different types of materials and hardnesses, depending on the field of application, temperature, pressure, speed, etc.
In the O-rings their shape, material, hardness, dimensions and tolerances, are fixed by DIN 3771
